A film crew from the Golf Channel came to Cedar Lane in October to produce a segment for a program called Golf Central. Our students have been participating in adapted golf and we were featured in First Tee magazine last year. Timothy Shriver, chairman of Special Olympics, will narrate the segment. Mr. Shriver was a guest at our Challenge Day last June!

Please review the district's official absence policy. When a student is absent, please report the absence by sending an email to Teacher’s Secretary, Kimberly Stewart at kimberly_stewart@hcpss.org or submit a written note to your child's homeroom teacher upon their return to school.

We have an opportunity to collect items for the Grassroots Day Resource Center. This center reaches out to the homeless in Howard county. To learn more please visit http://www.daycenter.org/
