The Prepare for Success organization has been partnering with Cedar Lane for well over 10 years.  Together, we ensure that students in the Howard County Public School System

have the tools needed for learning.  Cedar Lane students prepare the school supplies and backpacks for distribution culminating in 2500 backpacks full of school supplies.

The backpack project provides a variety of vocational opportunities for students including sorting, counting, packing, and organizing.  

Constellation Energy recently provided some grant funding to Prepare for Success to purchase school supplies.  Representatives from Constellation came

to Cedar Lane in December and created a video of our students at work.
