Dear Cedar Lane Families,
As we begin the second week of school closure, I wanted to reach out to thank you for your support and patience during this challenging time. The uncertainty and disruption caused by COVID-19 is taking a toll on everyone, and maintaining solidarity is one of our best defenses in coping with this and other stressful situations. I cherish the community spirit that continues to be among Cedar Lane’s greatest strengths.
Accessing reliable, comprehensive and easy-to-locate information is a valuable strategy for managing the impact of this situation. The daily updates that you’ve received from the Superintendent over the last several days provide a great deal of information and resources. You can quickly locate all of this information on the HCPSS COVID-19 webpage. Please check back regularly, as the site is continually updated with new information and answers to frequently asked questions.
I want to recognize and thank our custodians, Derrick, George, Alvin, and Rick who have been cleaning our school building.
I miss seeing our students, staff members, and all of you each day. I’m looking forward to the day when we can welcome everyone back to our school. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to email me at any time with your questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Paul Owens
Principal
