Leadership, Self-Direction, Inclusion, and Dreaming Big Starts Today!

Presented by Kathie Snow Author of Disability is Natural

“A green apple is more like a red apple than different, and a person with a disability is more like people without disabilities than different. One out of every five Americans has a disability. Like gender, ethnicity, and other traits, disability is a natural part of life and doesn’t have to be a barrier to a person’s success!”

“Living Real Lives, Dreaming Big Dreams”

The conventional wisdom of “Disability World” can generate helplessness, dependence, segregation, and more. But when children and adults with disabilities have important tools for success, including assistive technology and more natural forms of assistance, they can enjoy self-directed lives, be included in their communities, and live the lives of

their dreams. Everyone can live a real life included in the real world!
